Group Holiday 3/7 June 2021

We have decided to cancel the holiday this year. This is due to concerns that the Covid restrictions will not be lifted until after the date of the holiday.  Also a few of the gardens we were hoping to visit will not be opening until later in the year.

We do, however, hope to organise the same holiday in 2022

Our Spring tour takes us to the stunning county of Northumberland. Rich in history, its wild, sweeping, breath-taking landscape is a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our tour begins with a visit to the RHS’s newest garden - Bridgewater - set in the recently restored lost historic grounds at Worsley New Hall in Salford.

We explore Durham and its Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and view the city from the water whilst on a leisurely cruise along the River.

We will visit a variety of inspirational gardens including the visionary Alnwick Castle gardens and Whalton Manor Gardens with its magnificent architectural structures.

We will explore Cragside House and gardens and visit Wallington Hall the impressive home of Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan and discover more about this remarkable man and his unconventional family.

A visit to the beautiful gardens at RHS Harlow Carr completes our tour of this wonderful part of the country.
